How do I delete my account?
Go to the app's Settings page and tap "Delete Account" at the bottom. This will permanently remove your account and all associated data. This action cannot be undone.
How do I reset my streak?
Your streak resets automatically when you log a relapse through the daily check-in feature. If you need to manually reset, you can do so from the streak settings in the app.
Is my data private?
Yes! Your personal recovery data (streaks, check-ins, relapse events, mood entries) is private and only visible to you. Community posts and your profile are visible to other authenticated users. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How does the AI therapist (Miles) work?
Miles is an AI companion powered by OpenAI technology. He provides supportive conversation and encouragement. Miles is not a replacement for professional mental health care - if you're struggling, please reach out to a qualified professional.
Why did my AI credits run out?
Free users receive a limited number of AI credits per month. Credits reset at the beginning of each billing cycle. Premium subscribers receive additional credits. You can check your remaining credits in the app.
How do I enable or disable notifications?
You can manage notification preferences in your device's Settings app under Notifications > Upliftr. You can also customize which notifications you receive within the app's settings.
Can I delete individual entries?
Yes! You can delete individual check-ins, mood entries, relapse logs, and chat messages from within the app. Swipe left on most items to reveal the delete option, or tap to view details and find the delete button.
How do I report inappropriate content?
If you see inappropriate content in the community, please report it using the report button on the post or message. You can also email us at upliftr@proton.me with details.
The app isn't working properly. What should I do?
Try these steps: (1) Force close and reopen the app. (2) Check your internet connection. (3) Update to the latest version from the App Store. (4) Restart your device. If issues persist, email us with details about the problem.
Is Upliftr a replacement for therapy?
No. Upliftr is a support tool, not a substitute for professional medical or mental health treatment. If you're struggling with addiction or mental health issues, please seek help from qualified professionals. In crisis, contact emergency services or a crisis hotline.
